What's in the pack

Soak — breaks water repellency so your watering actually reaches the roots
Surge — supports leaf resilience and recovery during heat stress
Vivid — maintains deep colour without pushing soft vulnerable growth

How the program works

Step 1 — Fix the soil
Apply Soak first. Rate: 200ml per 100m2. Mix into water, apply evenly, water in immediately. Do not leave on the surface in high heat.

Step 2 — Feed the leaf
Mix Surge and Vivid together and apply in a single pass to the leaf surface. Leave 1 to 2 hours before watering in.
Surge: 200 to 350ml per 100m2
Vivid: 200 to 400ml per 100m2

Apply early morning or late afternoon only. Never apply foliar products in the middle of the day in high heat. Repeat every 3 to 4 weeks through summer.

Australian summer is brutal on lawns. The problem is usually not the heat.

It is that the water you are putting down is not getting through. Hydrophobic soil — where the surface becomes water-repellent — develops in sandy soils, high-sun areas, and anywhere that experiences dry periods. Once it sets in, water runs off instead of soaking in. Your lawn is dehydrating from the inside out, even when you are watering consistently.

Soak breaks that barrier. Surge and Vivid protect and maintain what is above ground while the heat is on. Summer is not the time to push the lawn hard — this pack is designed to protect, maintain, and keep it alive so you are not starting from scratch in autumn.

What to expect

Within 24 to 48 hours: Noticeably improved water penetration. Visible the next time you irrigate.
Days 5 to 7: Colour improvement from Vivid and improved leaf response from Surge.
Weeks 1 to 2: Consistently better moisture retention. The lawn stops dehydrating between watering cycles.
Through the season: Maintained colour, improved stress tolerance, and a lawn that comes out of summer in better condition than it went in.

The summer mistake most Australian lawn owners make

They water more when the lawn looks stressed. Nothing changes. They water more again. Still nothing.

The problem is hydrophobic soil, not the amount of water. Increasing irrigation volume does not help once soil becomes water-repellent — the water runs off faster. Soak is the fix. One application and the water starts penetrating properly. If your lawn has been struggling through summer despite consistent watering, this is almost certainly why.

Frequently asked questions

Is it too late if my lawn is already heat damaged?
No. Soak and Surge are the starting point for heat-stressed lawns at any stage. For heavily damaged lawns, consider the Recovery Pack or Full Routine Bundle as a more comprehensive solution.

Should I reduce watering if I use Soak?
No. Soak makes your existing watering more efficient. You may find over time that the lawn needs less water, but do not reduce irrigation during the treatment period.

Will this work on my turf type?
Yes. Works across all common Australian varieties including buffalo, kikuyu, couch, and zoysia.

Is this pack only useful in summer?
No. It works any time water stress is a factor. Dry spells in spring and autumn respond just as well. Soak in particular should be part of any Australian lawn program year-round.

Why doesn't the Summer Survival Pack include Vital?
The pack focuses on water penetration and above-ground protection. Vital drives root development which is most effective outside of peak summer stress. Add it individually if you want to build root depth during summer.

Is it safe for kids and pets?
Yes. Safe once applied, dried, and watered in — typically a couple of hours after application.
